Primate Ayodele calls on government to strengthen security, urges kidnappers to surrender

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has called on the government to strengthen the security architecture of the nation.

Primate Ayodele who made the call on Sunday, June 7, 2026, further urged kidnappers to surrender.

He said the government knows where they are, that it is a matter of time they would round the kidnappers up.

Primate Ayodele condemned a statement attributed to a General and Commander of the army whom he said claimed that the kidnappers are part of them.

He said, “The kidnappers, you are in total trouble, they know you ooo.

“You cannot escape, that is the most dangerous part of it.

“They know them, they know them.

“So, the earlier the better, strengthen the security. Do the needful.

“If a general, a commander in the Army is saying they are part of us, is that a statement, a whole general, a commander, who commands everything, who oversees everything, since you are part of them, that is a disgraceful word.

“It is very insulting to our security. It is very painful, very very painful,” Primate Ayodele said.
