OTU Lagos Branch honours Chief Ogoo Umeh, describes him as pillar of support

Chief Collins Ogoo Umeh, Nnabuenyi I of Ideato nation has been honoured by his people, the Osina Town Union Lagos Branch.

At a well-attended End of Year Party/Historic Award which took place at Ozubulu Hall, Festac Town, Lagos State on Sunday, December 8, 2024, Chief Umeh was described as a pillar of support to the community.

A business mogul of great reputation, Chief Umeh bagged an honour in the top Diamond Award Category which was a demonstration and typification of his immense contributions and commitment to the progress and development of Osina Town Union Lagos Branch and the entire Osina Ancient Kindom.

His giant size does not only portray his giant heart, it also portrays the giant strides and milestones he has achieved, not only in the business world, but also in community development and philanthropy.

More so his commitment to the Osina Project singled him out as a pillar of support even as he aligned himself 100 and 1% to the administration of Chief Chukwudi Emeh (Okadigbo 1 of Osina) Chairman of OTU Lagos Branch, who has displayed very sterling qualities in his efforts to rapidly transform the branch, no wonder the massive support the giant Iroko has showered on the present administration of the branch just as he has been doing over the years as every administration comes with its unique agenda and programmes.

A man with large heart, Chief Umeh, in ensuring the success of the end of year party and the historic award did not come alone, he endeavoured to mobilize his friends, the crème de la crème in business, commerce and industry, and politics to grace the occasion and also to give their huge support to the Branch so as to achieve whatever project they envisaged.

Chief Umeh in receiving the plaque expressed appreciation for the recognition and honour and revealed his readiness to continue to support his community the best way possible. “I thank Osina people, my people for counting me worthy for an award of this magnitude, I deeply appreciate it. I will continue to support my community to the best of my ability.”

In handing over the award to Chief Nnabuenyi, Chairman of Osina Town Union Lagos Branch, Chief Aloysius Chukwudi Emeh (Okadigbo na Osina) commended Chief Ogoo Umeh for always being there for his people and described him as a pillar and backbone of Osina Town Union Lagos Branch.
