Primate Ayodele warns Obi, Yayi, sees problems ahead

Primate Elijah Ayodele, leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has disclosed that it is not yet Uhuru for the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, NDC, Mr Peter Obi, and the All Progressives Congress, APC, Governorship candidate in Ogun State, Senator Solomon Olamilekan Adeola, popularly known as Yayi.
Primate Ayodele made the disclosure on Tuesday, August 25, 2026, at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos.
He said while Peter Obi and his major caucus would have issues, the APC Governorship candidate in Ogun has people who needed to be pacified in the party because of his emergence as the flagberaer of the party in Ogun State.
He said, “Ogun State election, in as much as Yayi is planning his various strategies, Yayi presence will still meet issues in the party.
“How do I mean, the party, some of them don’t want Yayi.
“This is the time that Adebutu should have used to rise, Adebutu does not know that there is an obstacle.
“With all that he is doing, the jamboree that he is doing, Adebutu would have gained a turning point, but it is not going to come that way, I am not seeing it coming that way.
“So Ogun politics, despite that fact, Yayi, there are still aggrieved people that needs to be pacified seriously.
“Obi will have problems with his main caucus and they will begin to have deliberations. I wished Obi would have believed in divine guidance, but Obi will feel he doesn’t want to hear all of these, well it might be very tough.
“The strength of 2023 may not come this way in 2027. It is all about time. Let’s wait and see, let’s see how it goes,” he stated.
