2027: I see empty campaign, bitterness and blackmail —- Primate Ayodele …DG position not good for Yari, warns Obi, Atiku against attacks
Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, Servant of God and Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has prophetically declared that the 2027 election campaign would be full of emptiness, blackmail, bitterness and embarrassment.
Primate Ayodele made the disclosure while addressing the media in Lagos on Sunday, August 23, 2026.
He warned both the presidential candidate of the Nigerian Democratic Congress, Mr Peter Obi and his counterpart in the African Democratic Congress, Alhaji Atiku Abubakar, to be careful so that they would not be attacked on campaign grounds.
He said that the position of Director General of Tinubu campaign assigned to Senator Abdulaziz Yari, is a bad omen.
Primate Ayodele said, “Well, Nigerians want to listen to campaign, the campaign that is coming.
“I see campaign of embarrassment, I see campaign of humiliation, I see campaign of blackmail, I campaign of Disorderliness, I see campaign of bitterness, I see campaign that does not have any element of seriousness.
“Well, Nigerians will decide what to choose, but those in this campaign are just on jamboree, that nobody will focus on subject matters.
“Nine things Tinubu supposed to say in his campaign but they will not be able to say them instead the will turn them to something else.
“Obi must be careful so they will not attack him in any of his campaign ground.
“Atiku must be careful, so that he will not be attacked in any of the campaign ground.
“The campaign in the North will be very volatile, especially for APC.
“Anything about APC, northerner don’t want to hear about it.
“The partys need to do a lot of work in the North.
“Let them put Yari as head of Tinubu campaign, this head of campaign Yari has taken, you know that I said it here that they want to give DG campaign to Yari, I have it in video, but as he has take it, Tinubu will face challenges.
“Yari supposed to be somewhere, not DG.
“Being the DG is going to cause Tinubu what he does not expect, it is not money we are talking about, I don’t say you should like what I am saying, Yari is not a wrong choice but it is not proper to be in charge.
“It is a scope I am giving you but don’t take it ooo, please.
“And what is going to happen to Yari, he is not seeing it. APC has made a mistake with the misplacement of the DG for campaign.
“Yari is good for management but not for DG campaign. DG campaign is not right position for good person.
“Yari is not supposed to be the person for DG campaign.
“The word of God is forever and with this Yari himself can even lose focus, ambition. Yari, you have sacrificed your ambition. You may not listen to what I am saying, but in the next seven, eight months I will see.
“Most of the people heading that campaign are not supposed to be there.
“We are going to see an interesting campaign but let’s pray we don’t witness campaign of thuggery, campaign of attacks, campaign that will witness so many ugly things, political noise, shooting, attacking,” he stated.
