SEPP rewards LASU best graduating student with N10m prize …As Prof Olatunj-Bello bags Distinguished Professorship award
The Sunbeth Excellence Partnership Programme (SEPP), has rewarded the Lagos State University (LASU) best graduating student for the 2025/2026 academic session, Adebanjo Samuel Oluolamide, with a cash prize of N10 million.
From the department of Aerospace Engineering, Oluolamide graduated with a Cumulative Grade Point Average (CGPA) of 4.97.
He therefore bagged First-Class Honours, at the 29th and 30th combined convocation of LASU which was held at the Olatunji Bello Auditorium, Epe Campus on Monday, 17th August, 2026.
Presenting the N10 million cash award, SEPP stated that the prize was in recognition of Oluolamide’s outstanding academic performance.
SEPP added that the award is part of the programme’s efforts, in partnership with corporate organisations, to recognize academic excellence and encourage innovation among students of Lagos State University.
Meanwhile, the Vice Chancellor of the university, Prof Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunj-Bello mni, NPOM, was conferred the Rank of Distinguished Professor, in recognition of her various contributions to knowledge and academic excellence within the university and beyond.
