Osun Election: Ododo Congratulates Adeleke, Urges Unity For Greater Progress
The Governor of Kogi State, Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, has congratulated the Governor of Osun State, Senator Ademola Adeleke, on his re-election for another term in office.
Ododo, who addressed Adeleke as his brother and colleague, noted that the victory represents a renewed mandate from the good people of Osun State and another opportunity to consolidate the achievements of the administration and deepen the development of the state.
In a statement signed by Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Ododo called for the unification of all interests and political tendencies in the state, urging the Governor to extend the hand of fellowship across political divides.
He urged his Osun State counterpart to continue to uphold the progressive ideals that have guided his administration and remain focused on policies and programmes that will improve the lives of the people of Osun State.
With the election now concluded, the Kogi State Governor called for the unification of all interests and political tendencies in the state, urging the Governor to extend the hand of fellowship across political divides and strengthen the bond of unity among the people.
He stressed that the task of developing Osun State belongs to all its citizens, irrespective of political affiliation, and that the renewed mandate should provide an opportunity for all stakeholders to put political differences behind them and work together for the collective interest of the state.
