D’CEM AWARDS SURPASSES 1,200 HONOREES, EMERGES AS A LEADING GLOBAL PLATFORM FOR EXCELLENCE

The D’CEM Awards (Distinguished Creative Empowerment Merit Awards) has continued to strengthen its reputation as a premier international recognition platform, having honored more than 1,200 distinguished personalities from across the entertainment industry, government, business, humanitarian service, sports, media, and community leadership.

Over the years, the awards have brought together an impressive collection of global achievers whose work has made lasting contributions to society while fostering stronger cultural and professional ties between Africa, the United States, and the international community.

Among its most celebrated honorees are renowned Nollywood icons and screen legends, including Charles Inojie, Ayodeji Makun (AY), Ejike Asiegbu, Norbert Young, Gloria Young, Regina Askia, Robert Peters, Ebere Okaro, Ngozi Ezeonu, Stella Damasus, Clarion Chukwurah, Joseph Benjamin, Daniel K. Daniel, Prince Eke, Anita Joseph, Gbenro Ajibade, Daniel Lloyd, Denrele Edun, Emma Odele, Funsho Adeolu, Florence Onuma, Mercy Mac Joe, Omalicha Chucks, Christopher Danian, Taiwo Oduala, Olufemi Raymond Brainard, Gloria Mba, and several other respected actors, filmmakers, and producers.

The D’CEM Awards has also recognized outstanding government officials and civic leaders, including former Abia State Governor Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, Atlanta Mayor Andre Dickens, Montgomery Mayor Steven L. Reed, South Fulton Mayor Carmalitha Gumbs, Norcross Mayor Craig Newton, Dallas, Georgia Mayor James Kelly, Newark Deputy Mayor Ugochukwu Nwokoro, and Georgia Governor’s Representative Sebastian Barron.
