Noble Umeh bags Ugo Gbuzuo title for development, welfare of Osina Ancient Kingdom
Noble Sir Ifeanyi Umeh (KSJI), has been honoured with the prestigious chieftaincy title of Ugo Gbuzuo 1 of Osina Ancient Kingdom.
Umeh was recognized and honoured by HRH Eze Ben Igwilo, the Ezedioranma of Osina Ancient Kingdom, on Saturday, 27th December, 2025, at the Palace of Peace, Osina, Ideato North Local Government Area of Imo State.
Noble Sir Ifeanyi Umeh was honoured for his outstanding and selfless contributions to the development and welfare of the Osina Kingdom.
Among his many notable interventions are the construction of a school and the establishment of a foundation that provides scholarships and educational support to numerous indigent students, thereby empowering future generations and uplifting the community.
These laudable acts of service, philanthropy, and commitment to human capital development earned him this well-deserved honour.
In his acceptance speech, Sir Umeh thanked God for the chieftaincy title and pledged to do more for Osina Ancient Kingdom. “My sincere appreciation goes to Eze OSB Igwilo, Ezeosina of Osina for counting me worthy for this prestigious chieftaincy title. I am quite honoured.
“I also want to state that this title will spur me to do more for me people, the people of Osina Ancient Kingdom,” he stated.
The event was graced by traditional rulers, dignitaries, members of the Knights of St. John International, and well-wishers, all of whom gathered to celebrate a man whose life of service continues to make a lasting impact on Osina Ancient Kingdom and beyond.
