SCOAN marks Thanksgiving with pomp, as Pastor Evelyn eulogizes the Founder, Prophet TB Joshua, Emmanuel TV

The epochal Synagogue Church of All Nations’ Thanksgiving 2025 has come and gone but its successes, impact and aura would continue to reverberate.
The awesome celebration of God’s faithfulness which took place at the International headquarters of the iconic church at Ikotun, Lagos, Nigeria, attracted men and women of various extractions and climes, Africa, Middle East, Europe, Americas, they were there in their numbers.
It was a day of musical extravaganza and dancing to the glory of God. Led by the SCOAN Choir, Opera performance by Esther Oputteh and Doris Osuagwu (Soloist) with Signature accompaniment orchestra
There was the Guest Artist, Music ministration by Gospel Singer, Miguel Angel Dual Rosillo from Spain; Guest Artist, music ministration by Gospel Artist singer, Henry Praise from Nigerian; another Guest Artist, songs ministration by a gospel singer , songwriter Rehoboth Kisangani (aka Divine Rehoboth) from Kenya. Then came Gospel Singer Rophiwa, South Africa and Gospel Singer, Mike Abdul, Nigeria. While the internationally revered Comedian, Akpororo was also on hand to crack the ribs.
One thing is very unique about the sound proof edifice structure housing the church, an indication of the level of sophistication of the church and a plus and true commendation of the leadership of the church manned by the amiable, formally soft but now strong spoken lady at the synagogue, Pastor (Mrs) Evelyn TB Joshua. Of truth, nothing has changed, but the church has continued to grow from strength to strength. The only issue with the church is the physical absence of the Founder, Prophet TB Joshua, outside that, every other thing is 100% in tact.
The annual thanksgiving service was initiated by Evelyn Joshua four years ago by what can be described as divine revelation.
Speaking, Pastor Evelyn Joshua revealed that Emmanuel TV is the power behind the success of the ministry over the years.
She stated further that the impact of partners in Emmanuel TV had been commendable since the passing of Temitope Balogun Joshua.
Pastor Evelyn said that God had continued to inspire the partners to stand in the gap for the ministry’s works, adding that the body has continued to carry out its global evangelism crusade without hitches, with testimonies of soul uplifting and community healings. “This year’s thanksgiving is an avenue to say thank you Emmanuel TV partners, thank you our Lord for making them a vessel in the vineyard.
“Our heart is full of gratitude in every facet.
“The Church has transformed immensely in physical structure, members’ unity and reform.”
Pastor Evelyn said that the church’s prospect, which is rooted in divine directives, will continue to soar to the glory of God and in sweet memory of the late TB Joshua.
Pastor Evelyn Joshua recounted the legacy of faithfulness she shared with her husband, Prophet T.B. Joshua.
She described her late husband as a man of prayer, faith, perseverance and total trust in God, whose life shaped her spiritual journey and outlook on marriage, ministry and purpose, adding that life with Prophet T.B. Joshua taught her that “life is not a bed of roses,” she said she learnt patience, tolerance, perseverance, understanding and forgiveness through their union, values that have continued to guide her life and leadership.
She urged the congregants and Emmanuel TV partners to assess the ministry’s journey so far, describing Prophet T.B. Joshua as a friend to widows, a father to the fatherless and a hardworking servant of God who taught preparedness and focus in the pursuit of heavenly blessings.
She disclosed that the SCOAN Prayer Mountain has continued to be a place of assured encounters with God, attracting partners and visitors from around the world who testify to miracles and deliverances taking place regularly, adding that the ministry remains determined to expand and strengthen the legacy of Prophet T.B. Joshua through youth development programmes, describing the youth as “The Seed of Tomorrow,” while also committing to strengthening women and ministry groups towards deeper relationships with Christ.
At the thanksgiving and remembrance celebration, the epitaphs for service to humanity through the T.B. Joshua Foundation were unveiled.
Evelyn Joshua ended by stressing that SCOAN would continue to experience physical and spiritual growth and urged members and partners to continue walking with God in gratitude, unity and faithfulness, returning all glory to God for His sustaining power.
