Bishop Ighele advocates genuine stakeholders’ summit in PROJECT NIGERIA …Calls for creation of Truth Commission

General Superintendent, Holy Spirit Mission (aka) The Happy Family Nation, Bishop Charles Ighele, has called for genuine stakeholders’ summit in PROJECT NIGERIA to ask and answer vital national questions.

Bishop Ighele also called for the establishment of a Truth Commission.

Bishop Ighele who made the call in his Easter Message on Good Friday, April 18, 2025, added that such vital questions would go a long way in addressing some obvious anomalies presently confronting Nigeria.

He said “My Easter message is call for all genuine stakeholders in PROJECT NIGERIA to meet and ask ourselves these questions: Why did Nigeria get to the low level it is today to the extent that Nigerians are now migrating to Ghana in huge numbers?”

He said Nigerians have been so degraded that even Nigerian prostitutes are the cheapest in some African countries. So he posed such questions as: “How did we get to this low level whereby Nigerian prostitutes are the cheapest in some African countries?

“What can be done to get Nigerians to be properly educated and civilised into a world power where they have values such as honesty, dignity of labour, love for country and fellow humans and so on?”

Bishop Ighele who is globally acknowledged as a man of undented integrity maintained that Nigeria needs to be resurrected. He appealed to the political leaders to set up a Truth Commission.

He said, “The truth is that Nigeria needs to be resurrected and I appeal to the political leaders to set up a Truth Commission that will look at how we got to this level of poverty, how we got to this level of lawlessness, how we got to this level of moral, educational and religious decadence and to suggest how we can come out of the dead.”
