Umenzekwe congratulates Arodiogbu, Duru, Eneukwu, says appointments indication of trust, excellent leadership

Hon. Chief Modestus Umenzekwe (Onwa Achina), a Chieftain of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) has stated that the appointments of three illustrious sons of Igbo land and stalwarts of his party by the President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinuby is an indication of trust and leadership excellence.
Umenzekwe who recently bagged the titles of Enyimba of Achina and Ugo di Ebube of Amesi, made the statement while addressing the media in his office in Lagos on Monday, January 27, 2025; he described the trio as men of impeccable characters.
It would be recalled that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu recently gave critical and well deserved appointments to three eminent personalities from the southeast: the APC National Vice Chairman (Southeast) Dr. Ijeomah Arodiogbu as Chairman, Governing Board, David Umahi Federal University Teaching Hospital, Ubuhu, Ebonyi State; Hon Emma Eneukwu, the APC National Deputy Chairman, South, appointed as the Chairman, Governing Board of the Federal Medical Centre Owerri, Imo State; and Mazi Nze Chidi Duru, the APC National Deputy Organising Secretary, as Chairman, Governing Board, Federal Medical Centre, Lokoja, Kogi State.
Umenzekwe gave kudos to the president for his eagle eye in choosing people with undented, flawless characters and unblemished integrity for those key positions that carter for human lives.
Umenzekwe said, “These are key facilities and critical national assets deservedly entrusted in your hands, meaning that the president has absolute confidence in your remarkable leadership qualities.
“On my own, I have no iota of doubt that you are going to live up to the expectations of our dear president and political leader, and I also have implicit trust that in your coming on board of these key establishments; your coming, I know, would definitely unleash a breath of fresh air into these facilities, rapidly enhance their transformation, solidify achievements already made and set agenda for new milestones. I congratulate the three of you,” Chief Umenzekwe averred.
