Fanimokun to deliver LASU’s Distinguished Personality Lecture

A retired “Super Permanent Secretary” in Lagos State Civil Service and an octogenarian, Chief Tunde Fanimokun, is set to deliver the Lagos State University’s Year 2025 Distinguished Personality Lecture.
The event which will take place on Tuesday, 21st January 2025, at Aderemi Makanjuola Lecture Theatre, main campus, Ojo, Lagos, Lagos State, is expected to attract who is who in the academia.
According to a release signed by the Coordinator, Centre for Information and Public Relations, Thomas-Onashile Oluwayemisi, Chief Fanimokun, a seasoned administrator, technocrat and developmental economist will deliver the lecture titled “The Practicability of Incorruptible Democratic Dispensation, Bridging a Good Leadership : A Case Study of Alhaji Lateef Jakande’s Leadership In Lagos State (1979 – 1983)”.
The Chairman of the occasion will be the Chancellor, Lagos State University, Professor Gbolahan Elias, SAN, while the Vice Chancellor Lagos State University, Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, is the Chief Host.
