Kogi Congratulates Ocholi On His Appointment As Tetfund BoT Member

The Kogi State Government has congratulated Dr. Hassan Abdulrahman Ocholi on his appointment by President Bola Tinubu as a member of the Board of Trustees (BoT) of the Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TetFund), representing the North Central geopolitical zone.

A statement on Wednesday signed by Kingsley Femi Fanwo, Commissioner for Information and Communications, described the appointment as a well-deserved recognition, stressing that Ocholi distinguished record of service, academic excellence, professional competence and commitment to national development earned him the appointment.

The statement reads, “As a scholar with extensive experience in public administration, scientific research, policy engagement, and community development, Dr. Ocholi has consistently demonstrated the capacity, integrity, and vision required to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of tertiary education in Nigeria. His wealth of knowledge and multidisciplinary background will undoubtedly add value to the Board as it continues to drive the transformation of the nation’s higher education sector.”

The Government also commended President Tinubu for finding another worthy son of Kogi State deserving of national service. “The appointment reflects the President’s confidence in competence and reinforces the administration’s commitment to assembling capable Nigerians to deliver on the Renewed Hope Agenda.

“Kogi State is proud that Dr. Ocholi, a distinguished son of Oganenigwu in Dekina Local Government Area, will bring his experience and intellect to bear in shaping policies and programmes that will strengthen Nigeria’s tertiary education system through TETFund.

“Governor Ahmed Usman Ododo expresses confidence that Dr. Ocholi will justify the confidence reposed in him by discharging his responsibilities with diligence, patriotism, and excellence. The Governor wishes him a successful tenure and assures him of the support and goodwill of the Government and people of Kogi State as he undertakes this important national assignment.”
