Primate Ayodele to NFF: Grant Nigerian Football Supporters Club voting right …Urges support for Rafiu Ladipo
Servant of the Most High God, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has urged the Nigerian Football authorities to permit the Nigerian Football Supporters Club the voting right in the choice of president of Nigerian football federation.
While speaking to journalists on Sunday, December 11, 2026, Primate Ayodele also implored whoever that is coming as the NFF president to recognize the former President of the nation’s supporters club, Rafiu Ladipo, to tap from his immense experience.
He stated, “Don’t allow NFF to be politicized, Adeniyi cannot be NFF president.
“If you put Adeniyi there, NFF will not be NFF again. Nigeria will cease expecting any cup.
“This Suleiman, whatever as I said is the best choice for the NFF top job, honestly, give it to the North, let north finish their term.
“Give it to the person that will bring prosperity, peace, harmony, victory and a balanced situation is this person.
“And I want to say that anybody who becomes NFF president and forgets Dr Ladipo, that seat will not be comfortable for that person.
“Bring Dr Ladipo, let the Nigerian Football Supporters Club be part of the people that will be voting for whoever that will be NFF president.
“You need the contribution of the Nigerian football Supporters Club. These are the things that will make Nigeria to go to world Cup.
“And they have to change the coach, change some of these bigmanisn players that we have. They are not effective any more, a lot need to be done for the Nigerian football to bounce back,” he said.
