Oyo State not for APC, Primate Ayodele reiterates, says Makinde’s candidate has chance, but must work

Servant of the Most High God and Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has reiterated his earlier prophecy that the All Progressives Congress, APC, has no foothold in Oyo State.

Primate Ayodele stated this while speaking to journalists in Lagos on Tuesday, September 29th, 2026. He added that the Makinde candidate of APM is on top but must work extra hard.

Primate Ayodele added that when the election in Oyo State truly commences, it would be thick.

He stated, “In Oyo State, I am still on my point, Oyo State is not for APC, I stand by my word. Makinde’s candidate, you are on top, but you still need some drastic steps politically.

“You need very good advisers who will do it, it is not Seyi oo, Seyi will add value but Seyi will not give you the victory, work hard, use the best language, the right language, APC is ready to ruffle it oo.

“Election in Oyo has not started, when it starts, Oyo will be very thick, expect rigging, expect money, they will spend money.

“But the APM, you need to put somethings right, put somethings well, that is what will make Oyo fly and that is what is going to make you fly. I am telling you the right thing and I am being honest with you”, Primate Ayodele said.
