Primate Ayodele to NFF: Fight for how to qualify Super Eagles for World Cup, not how to remove Gusau …Urges Federation to meet Ladipo

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the oracle of God and prophet of the time, has spoken in unmistakable term stated that the Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, should focus on how to qualify the Super Eagles of Nigeria for the coming World Cup and not how to remove Gusau.

Primate Ayodele made the statement in Lagos on Friday, August 21, 2026.

He maintained that the right things should be done for there to be peace in the Nigerian Football Federation.

Primate Ayodele went ahead to say that part of the problems of NFF was the neglect of those who have contributed their time, energy and resources to put Nigeria on world map through the national football teams.

He urged the Federation to meet people like Rafiu Ladipo, collaborate with the old hands to move the nation’s football forward.

He said the president of Federation of International Football Association, FIFA, is currently fighting the battle of his life, as there are forces fighting to remove him from office.

He said, “They want to remove the FIFA President at all cost.

“And forces are pulling from different directions, and the man is fighting for the survival of his last soul.

“People that are in the system wanted to dig his grave.

“Likewise in Nigerian Football Federation, NFF, the stakes have not been addressed, there are so many problems that must be digged into.

“If you dissolve board or not dissolve board, but if you dissolve board, there are so many things that are going to turn around in NFF.

“Why not leave this dissolving and do something, do some changes. I am telling you, it is just hate, bitterness, if indeed you put the best person there, Nigeria’s time is not ripe to win any tournament.

“You change, you no change, what I feel you should be fighting now, that is important is how to go to the World
Cup.

“The Nation’s Cup’s Cup, if you don’t change all the Supper Eagles you will still see all the problems.

“There is recorded decimal in NFF that needs to be removed, if you don’t change it, it is a dilemma.

“If you don’t change it, you will just be making noise. That noise, anybody that comes there will still be affected.

“Do what is needed, there will be a lot of consequences. If you don’t know. I am not in support of anybody.

“Just to ask some questions. Are we doing the right thing, have these people done right, have they done well?

“Now what is the way forward? Only two people are needed to be removed.

“And Gusau people that surround you, they will betray you. I have been saying this for a long time, they will betray you, but none is above God, just hold unto God.

“Super Eagles, this, that, is not doing well, that is because there is something spiritually wrong with NFF.

“NFF problems need to be addressed technically and spiritually.

“You see people who have worked for Nigeria, people like Rafiu Ladipo, people that suffered for Nigeria’s Super Eagles, you don’t remember such angle, supporters club, it is one of the problems NFF is having. If you don’t reconstitute Supporters Club, bring people like Rafiu Ladipo into the system; bring another person there, it will be another round of weeping. You don’t understand.

“You don’t see what Rafiu Ladipo has done in Nigerian Football, they don’t see Rafiu as a figure in Nigerian football, but you are doing it in your own way,

“Go back and dialogue with Rafiu Ladipo, than removing Gusau.

“By removing Gusau you are handing over the president, telling them that they can remove Tinubu at any time. That is it.

“I don’t say you should take my word, or you should not, I don’t say you should like me. Ladipo is a stakeholder, you fire him, you humiliate him, this is somebody that invested in Nigerian football, that made Nigerian name to be flying everywhere, now you relegate them and think there will be peace, go back and meet Ladipo,’ Primate Ayodele stated.
