INRI Leader urges INEC chairman to protect his name, says many will sue his Commission

Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of the Most High God and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has urged the Chairman of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) Joash Ojo Amupitan (SAN) to strive to protect his name.

Primate Ayodele was speaking to journalists at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos on Sunday, August 16, 2026.

He also said there will be policy change., And therefore urged him to watch out.

He said, “INEC chairman, be very careful , this election that is coming, there will be a lot of things that will be changing.

“There will be a lot of policy changes, they will take INEC to court, and so do all that is needful that will not put your name in the mud.

“I see that they want to rub your name with mud. Watch out,” he stated.
