Primate Ayodele calls for detention of Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingi …Says Keeping Nnamdi Kanu in prison is injustice

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has called for the detention of Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingi, the Islamic scholar who said Christians are infidel.

Primate Ayodele made this known on Friday, August 14, 2026, while addressing journalists.

He said there are lots of injustices in the country, and wondered why Sheikh Sani Yahaya Jingi, and his contemporary, Gumi, are not in prison.

He said if people that have Committee heinous crimes through their expressions that are capable of engendering genocide in the country, are working the street free, government has no moral justification to keep Nnamdi Kanu.

He said, “This old man, this religious bigot, this man, I don’t know what they call him, Mr. Sheikh, whatever your name is, what I said, Tinubu if this man is not in detention by now, people like Gumi is not in detention now, then why are you keeping Nnamdi Kanu?

“Why is Nnamdi Kanu in detention, why did you imprison Nnamdi Kanu?

“Why can’t you imprison people like Gumi and Mr Sheikh?

“A good for nothing man that supposed to go and relax the remaining part of his life in underground bunker or final detention where he will be surrounded with fire.

“You are keeping Nnamdi Kanu, this is pure injustice.

“I am saying it the way God revealed it to me, the way I saw it.

“Some say I talk from observation, I don’t know what you mean by observation, but me, I talk as a Prophet. That is the truth and nothing but the truth.

“Release Nnamdi Kanu, I don’t say you will win, if you keep him you will even fail,” he stated.
