Primate Ayodele to Okpebholo: Edo people don’t like you again …Warns Gov Ododo against fight with President

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has told Edo State Governor, Monday Okpebholo, that his people, the good people of Edo State, no longer like him.

Primate Ayodele made this bitter truth known on Sunday, August 9, 2026, at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos, while speaking to journalists.

He told him to, if he likes, go and seek bad advice from his usual bad advisers, that nothing would change.

He said no amount of visits to Mr president would make the people vote for him, adding that any capable candidate from even the smallest party in the State would defeat Okpebholo.

On the other hand the iconic Prophet of God warned the Governor of Kogi State, Governor Usman Ododo, to go back to the drawing board and make his ways right with the president to avoid being in confrontation with Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

He said, “Governor Ododo, there a lot of things they want to do, they want you and the president to fight.

“Forget about anything, go and put your house in order.

“Governor OKpebholo, or whatever your name is, go and seek bad advice or any advice, your second term is not certain.

“If they like let them advertise and say Okpebholo is working, if you like go and see the president one million times, Edo people do not like you again.

“I don’t say you should not reply, because I know that you may not have work.

“Any good candidate in any party in Edo State will defeat Okpebholo.

“Somebody with good strategy, somebody who knows politics very well, will defeat him handsdown,” Primate Ayodele stated
