Techlife Media & Communications Ltd has announced the 6th edition of the Women Entrepreneurs & Executives in Tech Summit & Awards (WEETS) 2026, a premier platform dedicated to empowering, inspiring, and celebrating women who are driving innovation, leadership, and excellence across technology, business, and entrepreneurship.

The summit, themed “From Innovation to Impact: Women Leading the AI-Driven Future,” will bring together distinguished industry leaders, policymakers, innovators, investors, entrepreneurs, executives, development partners, and aspiring professionals to explore how women can harness the transformative power of Artificial Intelligence (AI) to create sustainable impact, accelerate business growth, and shape the future of Africa’s digital economy.

The Women Entrepreneurs & Executives in Tech Summit & Awards (WEETS) is the flagship initiative of Techlife Media & Communications Ltd, established to empower, inspire, and celebrate women driving innovation, leadership, and excellence across technology, business, and entrepreneurship.

Since its inception, WEETS has evolved into one of Nigeria’s leading platforms for advancing women’s participation in the digital economy through impactful keynote presentations, thought-provoking panel discussions, capacity-building workshops, strategic networking opportunities, and the recognition of outstanding female achievers making significant contributions across diverse sectors.

Speaking ahead of the event, the Convener of WEETS and Founder of Techlife Media & Communications Ltd, Ugochi Emmanuel, stated that the 2026 edition is designed to prepare women for the opportunities and challenges presented by the rapidly evolving AI ecosystem.

“Artificial Intelligence is redefining how businesses operate, how industries innovate, and how societies grow. Through WEETS 2026, we aim to ensure that women are not merely participants in this transformation but leaders, innovators, and decision-makers shaping the AI-driven future,” she said.

As part of activities leading to the summit, WEETS will host a two-day Advanced Digital Skills Bootcamp on 11th and 12th September 2026.

The intensive training programme will equip women, young professionals, entrepreneurs, and aspiring tech leaders with practical digital and emerging technology skills, including Artificial Intelligence, digital innovation, entrepreneurship, and other future-ready competencies required to excel in today’s competitive digital landscape.

The main summit and awards ceremony will feature inspiring keynote addresses, executive panel sessions, fireside conversations, exhibitions, mentorship opportunities, business networking, and the prestigious WEETS Awards, which honour exceptional women and organisations championing innovation, inclusion, leadership, and digital transformation.

Over the years, WEETS has built a strong reputation as a catalyst for women’s economic empowerment and technology inclusion, fostering strategic collaborations between the public and private sectors while creating opportunities for learning, mentorship, investment, and business growth.

Techlife Media & Communications Ltd therefore invites corporate organisations, government agencies, development partners, academic institutions, technology companies, entrepreneurs, professionals, women-led businesses, and the general public to participate in this transformative event.
