Primate Ayodele urges Power Minister to double effort, saying problem with light in Nigeria not ordinary
Servant of the Most High God, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Babatunde Ayodele, has urged the Minister of Power in Nigeria Joseph Olasunkanmi Tegbe, to double his efforts towards ensuring regular power supply.
The oracle of God who was speaking to journalists at the international headquarters of his church on Tuesday, August 4, 2026, said that what is happening in the power sector is beyond ordinary eyes.
He made it clear that he did not see regular power supply in Nigeria this year or next year.
He stated, “Power stability, this year, even next year is not sure.
“Minister of power, you will only try, you will only try your best, but that your best, because this darkness, there is more to it.
“This problem in power, there is a lot that is going on.
“If those problems are not treated, then the epileptic power will continue.
“And I have seen the power grid that is coming, I am seeing blackout that is coming.
“So the Minister of power is working but the things are not going right now, he has to put more effort.
“This power problem is going to give President Bola Ahmed Tinubu serious problem for his second term,” he said.
