First African Church Mission appoints, affirms new BoT for growth, development

The First African Church Mission, has appointed and affirmed new Board of Trustee (BoT) to facilitate growth and development of the church’s missionary works.

The BoT members were, Sir Nnachukwu Innocent Chimela-Asonye Lay President and BoT Chairman.
Sir Ihua Maduenyi of the Orashi Archdiocese Rivers, Director, Sir Yemi Nelson of Premier Cathedral and Elder Akintola Akinwande General Secretary.

The affirmation ceremony held at the Premier Cathedral of Jehovah Shalom Broad Street, Lagos, was attended by dignitaries, stakeholders and members.

The Mandate of the affirmation, read and presented by the General Secretary, Elder. Akintola Akinwande, urged the members to work hard to elevate the status of the church in evangelism and humanitarian works.

According to him the visibility of the church in the society has become pertinent to left others especially the vulnerable and to encourage soul winning.

Also speaking at the event, the Primate, that performed the affirmation with the assistance of other Bishops, encouraged members to display uncommon commitment toward the growth of the mission in every facets.

The church head thanked God for his faithfulness upon His church and for another significant milestone in the life of the mission.

He prayed that the Lord Grant them divine wisdom, grace, strength and guidance as they faithfully discharge the responsibilities entrusted to them for the growth of the church.

The church leader, urged worshipers to be steadfast and always pray without seizing for celebrating and witnessing another significant milestone in the life of the Church Mission.

“God is worthy of our praise” he said.

He offered prayer for the affirmed officers. That the Lord grace to carry out the responsibilities entrusted to them for the growth of the church.

Other of the church leaders earlier inaugurated were, Most. Rev. Sunday Oludare Matilukuro, Primate and Spiritual Head, Barr. Sanya Kole Registrar, Prof. Adutche Wokocha Chancellor of the church.
