NIDOE Commissions Primary Healthcare Centre under Ogunfemi’s Leadership
A dream that began “like a fairy tale by moonlight” has become a daylight reality as the Nigerians in Diaspora Organization Europe, NIDOE, has commissioned a brand new Primary Healthcare Centre in Nigeria.
The project, delivered under the NIDOE 2026 Homeland Development Projects, faced months of skepticism, discouragement, and what coordinators described as “open campaigns of calumny.”
According to Pastor Peters Omoragbon, NIDOE 2026 Homeland Development Project Coordinator, the turning point came through the focused leadership of Hon. Cllr. Harold Ogunfemi, Continental Chairman of NIDOE.
“With FOCUSED LEADERSHIP fostered by a VISIONARY LEADER – HON CLLR HAROLD OGUNFEMI, the man that DARED where others trembled, we were not DETERRED,” Pastor Omoragbon said at the commissioning.
He explained that when expected support from individuals failed to materialize, the team shifted focus to God. “Even when we hoped and TRUSTED individuals for support, God reminded us that HE ALONE IS our SUSTENANCE that SUPPLIES all our NEEDS… We changed course and He GUARDED and GUIDED us by HIS GLORY,” he stated.
The new facility would provide accessible healthcare to mothers, children, and families who previously traveled long distances for basic treatment. It would also create jobs and training opportunities for the host community.
“What we thought could never happen is now a DAY LIGHT REALITY,” Pastor Omoragbon declared. “Brothers and sisters, celebrate the King of Kings for the life of a SERVANT LEADER, OGUNFEMI, as we commission this Primary Healthcare Centre.”
He noted that the health centre is the first of several projects under NIDOE’s 2026 agenda aimed at leveraging diaspora resources to address critical needs back home.
“As the doors of the new health centre open, a community gains more than a clinic. It gains hope,” he added.
