Review Nnamdi Kanu’s matter, stop the injustice, Primate Ayodele blasts government

Fearless Prophet, Servant of the Most High God, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has blasted the government over the continued detention of Self Government advocate and leader of the Indigenous People of Biafran (IPOB) Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

Primate Ayodele made this call while addressing journalists at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos on Tuesday, June 30, 2026.

He said if a governor could release Boko Haram members who have been killing Nigerian gallant soldiers in their thousands could be released, what stops the government from releasing Mazi Nnamdi Kanu.

He accused the government of aiding and abetting injustice, while Nigerians watch helplessly including mega church pastors who he said are obviously in the payroll of the government.

He said the continued detention of Nnamdi Kanu would be a sure route to the failure of President Tinubu’s second term.

“You send Boko Haram who are killing Nigerian soldiers into prison, and after few months you release them, and say they have repented. How can Boko Haram be repentant?

“If Boko Haram is repentant, what has Nnamdi Kanu done? What has he done that you keep him in detention for several months and years? This is the injustice I am talking about. Fear God ooo, fear God.

“Let us be honest, keeping Nnamdi Kanu in that place is tantamount to failure of Tinubu second term.

“I am not a friend of anybody. Call me APC pastor, I don’t care, I am only saying what the lord says, not what man says.

“Review Nnamdi Kanu matter, because what you have done is injustice.

“You release Boko Haram killing our gallant soldiers, they kill them and one particular governor now says, they are repentant. That governor is also a Boko Haram, he should be arrested, it is like this because no one is talking, all these pastors are under the payroll of the government.

“They promote injustice, because they supposed to tell the president and the governors that what they are doing is not good. We must be very sincere to ourselves,” he said.
