Security alert for Lagos: Ban okada riders, cart pushers, sack beggars — Primate Ayodele …Calls for establishment of task force

Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church has urged the Lagos State Government to ban Okada riders and cart pushers.

Primate Ayodele made the prophetic appeal on Sunday, June 7, 2026 in Lagos.

He further said that the government should ban cart pushers, beggars and even those buying iron condemn, adding that government should establish task force to implement the bans.

He said if government doesn’t ban Okada riders, they will enhance insecurity in Lagos, and this would go beyond party politics.

He said, “Ban Okada, Lagos State should ban Okada riders, in all parts of Lagos, let them ban Okada riders.

“If you don’t ban Okada riders, Okada riders will injure Lagos State ooo.

“All these barrow pushers, ban them.

“Ban beggars, so that they will not attack Lagos ooo.

“If they attack Lagos, Nigeria will be in disarray. These are warnings

“Pack all these mad people who pretend to be mad, pack them.

“Government should have a task force now.

“Ban Okada pata para in Lagos State, at least for now. Either down area, rural area, anywhere, if you get any Okada rider sentence him to 30 years imprisonment, except official Okada, like those Okada carry parcel and what have you. The personal okada, stop them today, that is how to curtail insecurity in Lagos State.

“All these beggars, all these cart pushers, iron condemn, stop them. If you don’t stop them, they will shake Lagos State oo.

“There are terrorists in Lagos ooo but they will not start now, you will see they will start in Ogun State. This is warnings, warnings, warnings.

“There is tension everywhere but you must find solution to it, ban Okada now, the Lagos State government must take it seriously now.

“They can’t use motor, they can’t use Marwa, everywhere in Lagos State, collect the Okada, send them to prison,” Primate Ayodele stated.
