Primate Ayodele warns Bawumia, says misunderstanding with Mahama, human
Servant of God, Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has warned Ghanaian politician, Mahamudu Bawumia not to introduce division in his party.
He further revealed that his misunderstanding with the President of Ghana, John Mahama, is human.
Primate Ayodele made the disclosures on Tuesday while speaking to journalists at his church in Lagos.
While stating that division would cut short the victory of Mahamudu Bawumia, he said he is not speaking to Mahama in order to curry favour.
Primate Ayodele said, “NDC in Ghana, let them pray not to lose a prominent member.
“NPP, let me start by saying congratulations to Mahamudu Bawumia, let me warn Bawumia that you have to work strategically, don’t bring division in your party, if you bring division in your party, you bring division to your victory. You are warned.
“John Mahama should know and he knows that I do not hate him, but there is an issue between me and him, that does not mean that if God sends a message I will not send it to him. It is just a human misunderstanding. Whatever I said the other time, I have no apologies on it, I am trying to show my grievances, but I have said the correct thing, the correct thing I have said it. And I want to warn mahama now that, your NDC party if you are not careful, this party may have many issues to contend with. And pray you don’t lose any prominent member of your cabinet. Again, be very prayerful.
“I am not saying this, maybe to draw your attention, no, or maybe to appeal to you, no, or maybe I am looking for your favour, no, when it is time if I want to do what I want to do I will still go back, I will not change,” he stated.
