Benin Republic to monitor calls, Whatsapp not safe —Primate Ayodele …Warns against another coup
Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has prophesied that the government of the Republic of Benin would soon commence monitoring of calls in the country.
He added that those who use WhatsApp as a means of social Communication in the country must be careful henceforth.
Primate Ayodele made the revelation on Tuesday, December 9, 2025, in Lagos, while speaking to Journalists on global issues.
Primate Ayodele made it clear that monitoring people’s communication would not save the president from another coup if he continues with his oppressive and suppressive policies.
He made it clear that Talon should not rejoice because any careless mistake he would witness another coup that would sweep him like tsunami.
Primate Ayodele said, “In Benin Republic, the government will start monitoring calls, WhatsApp will not be safe in Benin Republic, though that one will not save him.
“It won’t save him, this one is making noise now, Talon, he is making noise, if he still take that step another coup will come that will sweep him like tsunami.
“Don’t rejoice, don’t think you have survived, you have not survived it, another coup will come.
“What you want to do if you continue you won’t succeed in it,” he said.
