Opposition will fight Tinubu in three key areas—Primate Ayodele …Says new economic formula coming
Servant of God and Founder of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has made it clear that opponents of the government would attack the president, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, in three key areas.
Ayodele said the enemies would use issue of insecurity, economy and ethnicity to fight his Government simply because they felt that his economic policy, security measures and tribalist posture are not favourable to the people. His incessant borrowing is also seeing as anti- people.
He stated that Tinubu must wake up and work on those issues, otherwise they would rock his Government.
He said that a new economic formula is coming which would be piloted by the Finance minister in conjunction with the the Central Bank of Nigeria and Economic Advisers of the president.
He said such economic formula would remove VAT and other minor taxes.
Primate Ayodele warned Tinubu against implementation of his tax policy as that would be a sure way to kill his government.
He said, “Three areas they will use against President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
“Insecurity, economic policy, ethnicity problems to fight Tinubu, simply because they feel the economy is not good, his policies are not good, borrowing of money, insecurity.
“However Tinubu must wake up and work on this, so that they will not use this to rock his Government.
“There is a new policy on the economy that is coming soon, which will be facilitated by the minister of finance, Central Bank of Nigeria and some economic advisers of the president.
“This formula that is coming will change what will make Nigeria better.
“People will criticize this policy, the policy will remove VAT and all these minor minor things.
“Tinubu as it is, maybe, they are not seeing it the way I am seeing it from the spirit realm.
“Tinubu is killing his economic policy with minor minor VATs. Don’t allow it to happen.
“The moment you continue with this your tax reform, it will kill your government.
“Your tax Advisers, they don’t like you, they don’t want you to succeed, they don’t want your second term,” Primate Ayodele said.
