Primate Ayodele advocates establishment of tollgates across federal roads to fund maintenance

Primate Elijah Ayodele, the oracle of God at INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, has advocated the establishment of tollgates across the nation’s federal roads as that would help raise fund for maintenance of the roads.

He stated that the tollgates have become inevitable because the Government has contending projects that may not allow for adequate funding of the roads hence the easiest way would be to toll roads in order to use the proceeds to maintain the roads.

He said without tolling, the beautiful road by the government would sink in no time, but with good maintenance, they would last.

Primate Ayodele said, “Go back to tollgate, if you want to maintain the roads.

“I tell you if you don’t go to tollgate you won’t be able to maintain the roads and that would rubbish your Government.

“Tinubu Government should go back to tollgate so that his Government will be able to maintain the roads.

“The management of the roads is very very important, all these good roads you are doing needs good maintenance and the only way you can raise the money is from the amount of money you collect from vehicles that pass the place otherwise achievements on roads will be wasted,” he said.
