Political pundit favours Ukachukwu for APC flag in Anambra Guber race

Political pundit and commentator, Emmanuel Uwadineke, has disclosed that political permutations geared towards predicting the best aspirant to fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the November, 2025, Gubernatorial Election in Anambra State favour Prince Nicholas Ukachkwu.

Uwadineke who was speaking to Journalists in Awka on Wednesday, March 5, 2025, cited Ukachukwu’s political pedigree, having occupied prominent position in the public service and grassroots political mission as an added advantage over other candidates.

He also added that Ukachukwu remained the only aspirant under APC, who is favoured by the masses of the people due to his age-long involvements in philanthropic activities in the state. “Ukachukwu is a grassroots politician and no other aspirants have done have of what the man has done for the people of this state in the last two decades. Don’t mind these ones that are trying to do one thing or the other because of what they want”

The political scientists who is known in political circle as political octopus maintained that democracy is a game of numbers, but added that the Osumenyi born politician should go into the contest as it is number that would decide, adding that the party caucuses should do everything to promote the aspiration of Ukachukwu because he carries the charisma of personality that could win the election.

He further said, “It is now very clear even to a doubting Thomas that Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu remains the only candidate with the charisma, wherewithal, capacity, political clout and machinery to fly the flag of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in the upcoming November, 2025 gubernatorial election in Anambra State.

“Prince Nicholas Ukachukwu is a man of sincerity who is not known for grandstanding, political gibbering and loquaciousness, Ikukuoma Ndigbo promises what he can deliver, one can go on and on and on, in reeling out the resume of this man who has done so much, but suffice it to say that he is the man Anambra State is yawning, the man the cap fits,” he stated.

Uwadineke also averred that even before the present political dispensation heralding his entrance into the race for the off cycle gubernatorial election in the state, Prince Ukachukwu has worked very hard knowing that political victory is not given, one must work hard for it. He said, “No wonder his name and person resonated very high at Awka during the APC secretariat commissioning on the 8th of February, 2025. Prince Ukachukwu, it is on record, received the most accolade and the most cheer during the gathering.

“During the visit of the immediate past Governor of Kano State and National Party Chairman of APC, His Excellency Alhaji Abdullahi Umar Ganduje, Ukachukwu did not only redeem the whopping N30million donation he made to the party, Ikukuoma Ndigbo also capped his address with a promise to erect a more befitting permanent office complex for APC in Anambra State whether he gets the APC ticket or not. He was adjudged by the majority of the mammoth crowd that attended the event as the man who is most qualified to pull Anambra State out of the woods.

“That day Ukachukwu emphasized the importance of unity within the party and the need for collective effort to ensure APC’s success in the upcoming November 8 governorship election,” he stated.

Uwadineke added that Anambra is due to be connected to the national political grid as it would strengthen the political ecosystem of the state and foster economic and infrastructural development. “I urge all members to continue working together to ensure victory in the upcoming November 8 governorship election. Ukachukwu’s indefatigable dedication to the wellbeing of Anambrarians will bring intentional development and positive change to the state.” He said that a united APC is crucial for achieving these goals. He maintained that the focus of the party should be more strategic on how to win the election, noting that it will require commitment and selfless dedication to make this a reality.
