Prophet Anene Nwachukwu marks 52nd Birthday with pomp, distributes cars, house …Says selfish interest made them annul 1993 election, IBB murdered sleep

Capacity pastor, Oracle 1, Prophet (Bishop) Anene Nwachukwu’s 52nd Birthday was celebrated on Sunday, 23rd, 2025 at the international headquarters of Rhema Deliverance Ministry at Iba, Lagos. He celebrated God’s faithfulness in his life, his family, life of RHEMA Deliverance Ministry, during which time, gifted cars and a house to some members. In this interview the internationally renowned prophet of God addressed several nagging national issues and Christendom. Excerpt:
Can you share your experience with the public, today is a bumper harvest, today is your birthday, you celebrated a lot of people, you gave out cars and you gave a house to your members, child dedication, a lot of things happened today, it was so special, share some of your feelings
Well today, I want to say, first by thanking God, that today happens to be my 52nd birthday, and by the special grace of God I am so excited that the lord in his infinite mercy has kept me alive to see today. At the same time I appreciated some of my pastors and workers who have been with me over the years, standing by me.
Today is a unique day, I gave out cars, I gave out gifts, I am going to build a house for my pastor as I declared. So I think it is the lord that made it possible. And I am so happy that I am the one that is being used to do all these. Of course, I am so excited seeing my 52nd birthday today.
You said something exciting at the altar this morning, that by March you will be 30th on the pulpit, Sir, can you share a little about the bitter side of it?
Well I was ordained into ministry in March 1995, and by the special grace of God, I have been in the ministry for about two years before I was fully ordained. And God has been so faithful to me that I started this journey with my father, my biological father and my spiritual father, Bishop Arthur Nwachukwu, of blessed memory. My father raised me up in a very unique way especially he taught me what ministry is all about before I went to bible school.
And when I graduated from bible school I worked with him for five years, he was the one that groomed me, nurtured me, and taught me what ministry is all about. So today I am a very solid pastor in the world in the areas of deliverance, healing and prophecy through the grace that worked in my father’s. My father was a unique man and also I appreciated my mother. My mother stood by me throughout my ministry and uptil now she is still standing by me. So my years in ministry has been very very turbulent, and by the grace of God I persevered and with longevity I cannot fail
And you heard my message today, you shall overcome your troubles. I was talking from experience of what I passed through, many people watched me to fail, in Acts 28, I talked about Paul being attacked by snakes, whoever that attacked you waiting for you to fall and die, will be disappointed that you cannot die, you will be alive to prove them wrong. And today, I am proud and boldly saying to all that I have proved my enemies wrong.
Any plans to ensure continuity of empowering your members with cars or houses, or is it just one off thing?
This is not the first time I am giving out cars to my pastors, I have given to others, I am happy that you heard my PA saying he has received two cars from me. So it is a continuous process. God rewards faithfulness but man appreciates. So what I am doing is appreciation God is the one that rewards. So by the grace of God it is a continuous process, as we are working and as you are dedicated, anything we are capable of doing for anyone, we will do it, and we will still do more tomorrow.
Tell us some of the lessons you have learnt throughout your years in the ministry
Well I learnt that integrity pays, I said it when I was preaching that my father told us as his son’s we should not build our church in guest preachers. That we should build our church around ourselves, that we are capable or able of drawing the crowd any guest speaker can draw. I didn’t invite any guest speaker, I celebrated with my members. If I called outsiders it would not be as homely as I wanted. I celebrated 50 years with pomp and pageantry, at 55, I will invite Governors, senators, I have the capacity to draw anybody by the special grace of God I am so excited, and even you journalists are witnesses to what God is doing here, and the level of prophetic words I am exhibiting because it is in me.
What inspired you going into ministry?
Well, I went into ministry because God called me, I never wanted to be a pastor because my father was a pastor, my mother a pastor, my brother is already running a ministry, but when it done on me I went home, I couldn’t sleep, the lord would tell me go and do my work. I went to my father, told my father, I am being disturbed every night this is the voice I am hearing, my father said, is it not time you for you to throw in the towel and join ministry? so I looked at my father, he was a successful man in the ministry and I see how God raised him and so I said to myself, if my father succeeded, I too will succeed. That is what inspired me.
Let us go a little bit national, recently IBB launched a book, an autobiography, the whole nation was there, donating money, what is your take on all this?
Babangida made a statement to the nation through his book, I want to quote Utman Dan Fodio, he said, Conscience is an open wound and only truth can heal it. Babangida’s conscience, I believe, has been disturbing him, yes, we thank him knowing fully well that he murdered sleep. In June 12, 1993, Nigerians spoke with one voice giving Abiola the mandate as the president, but Babangida annulled it, and today he has come out to tell Nigerians that Abiola won the election.
Yes we thank him for being courageous enough to come out to say this, what of the thousands and millions of souls that died in 1993, during that June 12 quagmire. What of those that were in jail and they died in prison, after June 12? Now you look at the same scenario, you discover that the leaders should always have the interest of the people at heart instead of their selfish interests. It was their selfish interests that made them annul June 12.
I want to say this, great Leaders think about the next generation, but politicians think about the next election, we must always know that leadership is not a showmanship is by integrity. Babangida has spoken, but the same scenario is still repeating itself today. And what are you going to say for those who are there? Nigerians come out in the last election and we’re dangerously intimidated, many died, and we are where we are today. We are preparing for 2027, when we have not ended 2025. And now 2027 battle has started, that is why I said politicians think on how to win the next election, but great leaders always think of the next generation.
I have all these leader, their children are in the same schools with my children in London, I went to my children’s school in London and I see about three governors whose children are there, they are not thinking about the less-privileged here who are not opportune to be in London, we see strike every day, we see teachers talking about not being taken care of, and they see how things are working, why can’t they work in our nation?
If you go to all these countries where these soldiers took over and ruling, even the soldiers are doing well. Look at Niger, look at Mali, I am not saying soldiers should rule us, democracy is still the best option, but we should emulate good things we see in other nations, so that DSS will not invite me. I don’t support soldiers taking over the government, far from that.
You are one of the renowned Pastors working against fake pastors, native doctors, and governor Soludo is seriously fighting them, what is your word of encouragement to him
Well Nigerian factor and Nigeria issue is, to start something and sustain it, we are known to start something and will not sustain it. Remember the era of WAI brigade, war against indiscipline, remember MAMSA, we now moved to national orientation agency, all those government agencies, where are they today? They are dead. Soludo, thank God he is trying to sanitize Anambra State, but Anambra State is not yet sanitized, because as at two days ago, kidnapping went on randomly at Onitsha, at Nnewi, my brother was at Nnewi when somebody was kidnapped. And the issue of native doctors, we are aware Anambrarians know those behind this nonsense, they know their names, they come out on the social media, some disguise as pastors, when they went to their shrines they saw different charms and I refer you to my 2025 prophecies on 31 night, as a capacity oracle I prophesied, I said 2025 that many fake pastors will be exposed. I said 2025 I see fire outbreaks, I see tanker, I see fire, I see people running helter-skelter, because of fire. And I prayed that Rhemites will join be affected. That was my prayer. I also said it that a major church leader known all over the world will go this year, and it will come to manifestation. My name is Ifeakandu, Capacity, Anene Nwachukwu, I said it that a former head of state in this country will go, it will still happen.
Can I tell you the one that will shock you, I said there will be crisis in the national assembly, because the people there are doing things anyhow, I didn’t see how a woman would stand in the national assembly they will ask her to change her seat in a chamber, she was elected to represent her people, and the same man who is attacking the woman did the same thing, when he was asked to change his own seat, Akpabio was fighting Saraki, people gathered in the national assembly and there was commotion, he refused and resisted changing his seat. Now you are telling a woman, Natasha. You see Nigerian women are not outspoken I am saying it and I am saying it categorically that Nigerian women should march to the national assembly and do demonstration that will shake them, let me tell you this country belongs to all of us you, may be richer than me in millions, I have hundreds, one day you will die, you are not the first senate president we have seen, nor the first president, Buhari came, bugharia Nigeria and left, Tinubu is there now, naeti anyi ife anyhow, by the grace of God we will survive them all.
During your ministration, you picked up a guy and said, you are pressing laptop, you are yohoo boy, Sir, for you picking that boy, what are you telling our young ones? They are not patient enough and they are into yahoo and yahoo plus.
I am happy that you saw that I have never met the boy before, and I picked him up and I said, you are pressing computer, you are a yahoo boy, he said yes, I said stop it God will help you. I told him that God will give him something better.
Let me start by blaming our government, you see, when I was still in primary school in the 80s, I learnt that the youths are the leaders of tomorrow, by then Buhari was the president in 1983, and in 2023 when I became a full-fledged man in my 50s, Buhari was still the president, after how many years, are we moving forward? A man who has idea of 1983, and idea of 2023 would it rhyme? We are in computer age, above all, you are not educated and you are ruling us, where do you think we are heading to? We are heading to, we are heading to the ditch. I said it again, don’t follow the man with television, follow a man with vision. A man with television will watch a man with vision in his television.
By the level God has brought me, I have met a lot of people, I spoke in Japan, Tokyo representing Nigeria, in 2010/11. I am politically inclined, I have met all these leaders, many of them are my friends, Last three weeks in London, I was with Osinbajo, former Vice president of Nigeria, I was with the current deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, I was with Abia Governor wife, we sat down, we had interaction, we spoke, I discovered that some of them who are in authority, they will see where they didn’t do well. It will be paining them and to correct it, there would be no opportunity. When you have opportunities make a good impression, because you may never get another opportunity to make another impression.
Let’s have consideration over the less privileged, yahoo yahoo came as a result of no job. People are discouraged that after university there is no job. They now feel they are getting it quick with yahoo yahoo, by manipulation, kidnapping, rituals, kidnapping is a business, because I heard one man who was kidnapped, that when he was sick in the kidnapper’s den, a doctor who is a kidnaper came and gave him injection and treated him for Malaria. Our leaders should be ashamed that our youths have derailed by going into yahoo yahoo. If there is good job will they do yahoo yahoo? There is no job.
Now we are in a country we don’t know what is happening, we are in a country where people are sharing money in dollars in Ghana must go bags, I entered the house of a politician before the holy spirit I nearly fainted, Satan said, carry one bag, I said no, come and see dollars, I said is this the country where we are? Can I talk to you, that is why I took my children abroad to go and school. And if you go to the school, a secondary school child, they have football pitch that is better than our national stadium, they have basketball court, the have music department, their talents are monitored and nurtured.
What are you telling pastors supporting these yahoo, yahoo?
I have one problem which everybody close to me knows. I don’t respect money. I don’t worship money, I was preaching to over 500 pastors last two weeks at Navy Town Stadium, after my message nobody could get up from their seats, we had over 100 bishops and archbishop with their Caps, I have over 500 pastors seated, do you know my message, where are the spiritual men that will do the will of the church? Our churches today is for showmanship, how many jeeps you have, how many crowd, I told them there, thank God I have jeeps also, I have cathedral, so that you don’t say I am speaking out of frustration, I told God to make me a capacity pastor, so that when I am talking people will listen, I talk to governors, I rebuke governors, I don’t want to be appointed Commissioner, I am bigger than a commissioner, I don’t want to be appointed anything in government, I am bigger than that, I am a capacity pastor, you will be governor, maximum eight years you are out and become ex-governor.
Your message to the nation
Nigeria will rise again, God will help us in this nation, those preparing for 2027 should first of all ask God for the gift of life, because if you are planning without God, you miss the plan.
