Valentine Day: A deception from devil to impose universal day of immorality on planet earth

Bishop Charles Ighele, the General Superintendent, Holy Spirit Mission (aka The Happy Family Nation) has disclosed that Valentine Day is a deception from the devil so that he can impose a universal day of immorality on planet earth.

Bishop Ighele made the revelation in a press release made available on February 11, 2025, to warn the world against indulging in sin in the name of Valentine Day.

He decried a situation where even both singles and married have bought into the dastardly act. “Unfortunately, many nice boys and girls and married people have bought into this lie about love.”

He said if Valentine Day as practised, is not a demonic concoction, the Catholic Church would have championed its celebration.

Speaking about Cupid, Ighele said further, “What I know is that there was and there is still a demon by name Cupid. This demon is one of the “rulers of the darkness of this world “as can be found in Ephesians 6 verses 11 and 12.

“Cupid is the Roman name for Greek for the Greek god of love known as “Eros”.

“The English word “erotic” has its root in “Eros”.

The dictionary defines the word “erotic” as “relating to or tendency to arouse sexual desire or excitement, sexy sensual, arousing, and erotic entertainment.”

“What “Cupid”(Eros) do is to make humans have demonically inspired sexual feelings on people and to spread sexual entertainment.

“In order to further institutionalise sex, Cupid made humans set aside February 14 as a special day when anyone can do whatever they want to do with sex and the perversion of true love.

“The Bible tells us that “God is love” and it is very certain that God will not want His type of love celebrated this way,” he said.

Bishop Ighele urged the world to pursue the love agenda of God which is about loving God and loving others as ourselves “I appeal to boys and girls, singles and married not to promote the evil agenda of evil spirits, but should pursue the love agenda of God which is about loving God and loving others as ourselves.

“God’s kind of love does not have room for illegal sex and other forms of immorality,” Bishop Ighela stated.
