OTU Lagos Branch honours Chief Theodore Nduka Ohuche with Merit Award in Excellent Leadership

Chief Theodore Nduka Ohuche, a businessman of great reputation, has been honoured with a merit award in excellent leadership by his people of Osina Ancient Kingdom.

The event which took place at the Main Auditorium of the popular Ozubulu Hall, Festac Town, Lagos State on Sunday, December 8, 2024, was a celebration of excellence as dignitaries converged to give honour to whom honour is due.

A businessman per excellence, Ohuche who has served OTU Lagos Branch twice as Secretary and currently the branch representative at the Imo State Towns Development Association Lagos (ISTDAL) is a prodigy, an excellent leader and critical stakeholder in both the branch and Osina Ancient Kingdom in general.

He was also recognized for his commitment and contributions to the growth and development of OTU Lagos Branch and Osina Ancient Kingdom.

Ohuche who is popularly known as Chief Akudo, is an alumni of All Hallows Seminary, Onitsha. He got his Bachelor of Science (Bsc) Education at Abia State University.

Ohuche has served his community and nation in various capacities including but not restricted to being the former Assistant Secretary, Lagos Island Medicine Dealers Association (LSMDA); former Assistant Secretary, Osina Youth Club (OYC), Lagos Branch, former Secretary, Osina Youth Club (OYC), Lagos and former Chairman, Osina Catholic Abroad (OCAA), Lagos.

Ohuche is also the present Chairman, All Hallows Old Boys Association (AHOBA), Lagos, current First Vice President-elect, Imo State Towns Development Association (ISTDAL), Lagos; member of the prestigious ‘NDI OSO EZE ACHI’ under his Royal Highness, Eze Osina of Osina, and member of different Ad-hoc committees across various organizations and associations.

Ohuche while receiving the award appreciated his people and assured them of his continued commitment and contributions to the development and growth of the town.

Ohuche said “I deeply appreciate this award coming from the good people of Osina Town Union Lagos Branch. I assure you that I will continue to contribute my quota for the progress of the town.”

In handing over the award, Chairman of Osina Town Union Lagos Branch, Chief Aloysius Chukwudi Emeh (Okadigbo na Osina) commended Chief Ohuche for his continued assistance to the branch and community.

He said “We appreciate what you are doing in Osina community and we urge you to keep it up.”
