INEC not ready for coming election —- Primate Ayodele …Urges Government to focus on better strategy instead of humiliating opposition

Primate Elijah Ayodele has stated that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, is not ready for the upcoming elections in 2027. He said the electoral umpire should do better by ensuring there is violence-free election.

He said the government should embark on better strategy that would bring victory rather than avenue to humiliate opposition, because the more you try to humiliate opposition, the more you give them strength.

He said, “The government should work hard against insecurity so that violence will not lead to cancelation of elections.

“These are the areas I am telling you that INEC is not yet prepared for proper election.

“Sincerely that date they are going to change it.
It is all about time, they are going to change that date.

“They are yet prepared, if the election goes on like this, they are going to bully you, Amupitan.

“Tinubu Government should get ready for a very big protest, and don’t let the protest be like protest that will cause a lot, because, some people don’t want this election to be conducted. They will protest against IGP, they will protest against so many things.

“Nigerians will call for what they want, what they want to see, they will call for it. A lot of things they will protest against.

“And the more the government wants to humiliate and embarrass opposition, the more they are giving strength to opposition.

“Don’t embarrass opposition, think of another strategy, people like Atiku, Obi, but Atiku should get prepared for embarrassment, and sincerely Atiku if you are not careful, when you are going by the road, watch, so that any of your vehicle will not get accident.

“And sincerely if there is any means they can use to implicate you, they will do it oo without looking back,” he stated.
