INRI leader urges adequate security for LG Chairmen in Northwest, Northeast, to avoid being kidnapped …Warns against death of military personnel in army custody
On Sunday, September 20, 2026, the Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, vocal and iconic internationally respected Prophet of God, Primate Elijah Ayodele, called for the provision of adequate security measures for the chairman of local governments in the northwest and northeastern part of the Nigeria.
Primate Ayodele warned that if any of the chairmen is kidnapped, chances are that ransom could be paid and the chairman would still be killed, so he called for protection for the chairmen coming from that part of the country.
He also warned against jail break in Nigeria and death of army personnel in custody.
Primate Ayodele stated, “Let’s watch against jail break in Katsina, Kaduna, Abuja, Niger, Adamawa and let’s watch, and let’s watch so that military jail will not be attacked. Let’s watch so that military formations will not be attacked. Let’s watch so that no military personnel will be attacked, this is very important.
“And let’s watch so that no military personnel will die in military custody.
“Let’s watch so that no local government chairman in the North East and North Western part of Nigeria will be kidnapped. If they kidnap you, ransome will be paid but they will still kill you.
“So give them more security, very important.
“Let me mention these states, Kaduna, Sokoto, Niger, kebbi, please watch,” he said.
