Local Government autonomy not working, declares Primate Ayodele …Says ADC, APC will buy party representatives, as senators plan to confront Akpabio

Fearless Nigerian Prophet, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Primate Elijah Ayodele, has brought to the attention of the public that the so much celebrated local government autonomy is not working, as it has been hijacked by the governors.

Primate Ayodele who was speaking to Journalists in Lagos, stated that the local government autonomy has serious challenges which need be addressed.

Primate Ayodele who stated that APC and ADC would buy members, also further stated that some senators, especially those who would not be returning to the Senate in 2027, would challenge the Senate President, Akpabio.

He said, “Local Government autonomy, the thing is the local government autonomy is not working, because there are still going to be some areas where there will be question, and some local governments, they are still going to expose some governors. So you are going to see what is going on in the local government autonomy.

“In the coming election, see APC, ADC, they will buy party representatives, some party representatives will take money because of their party, because of poverty and they will frustrate their party. So party agencies, they must be watchful, so that you will not be disappointed.

“Some senators are preparing to confront the Senate president, I see a rowdy session in the assembly. Some of them who are not given ticket will grow angry, let’s watch and see,” he said.
