Primate Ayodele reiterates call for opposition to form coalition …Says you must be stronger than the man in the rock to win

Primate Elijah Ayodele, Servant of the Most High God, Founder and Leader of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, has urged opposition presidential candidates in the 2027 General Election to come together under one umbrella as a coalition.

The fearless and outspoken prophet of God made the call on Friday, August 14, 2026 while speaking to journalists on issues of national importance in Lagos.

He called out Atiku Abubakar, candidate of the African Democratic Congress, ADC, Peter Obi and Kwankwaso, presidential candidate and vice presidential candidate of NDC respectively.

He reiterated that independently the candidates would not upstage Tinubu because any body that would dislodge the president must be stronger than the rock, and the person must be completely ahead of the the president.

He said, “I have a word for Atiku.

“Atiku, Obi, Kwankwaso, Donald Duke, and the host of others, Sowore, Makinde, why can’t you form a coalition if you want to fight this government.

“If you want to fight the man in the rock, you must be very strong.

“The strategy will work, ideas will work, sincerely, it will even work more than money.

“If you really want to remove Tinubu, if you are arranging one Naira, one Naira cannot remove Tinubu. You must get everything in triple, you must work ahead of him, before you can win him, it is not going to be an easy task.

“I am saying this not that I want APC to lose, or I want ADC to win, but I will tell you, don’t waste your energy if you say you want to contest alone,”he said.
