Primate Ayodele warns South Sudan President against incarceration of Benjamin Bel Mel, other political prisoners
Primate Elijah Ayodele of INRI Evangelical Spiritual Church, Lagos, Nigeria, has urged the President of South Sudan, Salva Kirr Mayardit, to ensure urgent release of Benjamin Bel Mel, the First Vice President and other political prisoners.
He equally urged the President to pray so that he would not be bereaved.
Primate Ayodele stated this while addressing journalists at the international headquarters of his church in Lagos, Nigeria.
He said, “South Sudan President should release Benjamin Bel Mel, the first Vice President, and other political prisoners.
Otherwise, the prison will be filled.
The president should pray not to be bereaved,” he stated.
