Mgbidi 2026 kicks off, enters Day 2, as Pastor Muoka assures members ‘what God has determined shall be done’

The Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement has kicked off the 2026 edition of her flagship programme, Mgbidi International Crusade.
The four day power pact crusade which commenced on Thursday, January 1st, 2026, at Mgbidi, Imo State, Nigeria, attracted a mammoth congregation from across the globe.
Speaking to the jubilant interdenominational faithful who thronged the crusade ground for the annual early January blessing programme which has the theme ‘What God Has Determined Shall Be Done” the General Overseer, Pastor Lazarus Muoka assured the congregants that what God has determined in their lives shall be done.
He said, “A new year has just begone and it is full of uncertainty, I want to let you know that your coming here is very necessary because we are gathering at the feet of the person who knows the future, he is the only God that knows the future and whatever he said shall be done. I am telling you there is nothing too hard for God to do.
“He determines what will happen in the future. And he knows the end from the beginning, from today God will tell you what will happen at the end of this year. For his counsel shall stand and no one can prevail against it,” Pastor Muoka stated.
Teaching the worshippers about the limitlessness and omniscience of God, he said, “We all should know that human beings are limited in certain things, we are limited in wisdom, we can’t see through the wall, we are limited in sight, and in lifespan. But only God is limitless, he has power to do all things.
“The God we serve will never disappoint you. With God all things are possible, with God you will succeed, you will finish strong, if God be for you, who can be against you? The lord is your shepherd. I congratulate you for coming here today and making up your mind to be with God.
“For coming here, you want to be with God and for God to guide you, If you love your life without God, you lack wisdom. For coming to Mgbidi, God will bless you and when God blesses you, no one can curse you, he that curses you shall be cursed.
“You shall succeed as you follow the lord, this year, you will never walk in darkness till the end of this year, you will never be disappointed. Whether the enemies like it or not, you will never walk in darkness, you shall never stumble,” he said.
Pastor Muoka revealed the characteristics of God to his listeners, saying, “We should know that our father in heaven is the creator of everything, he called all things into existence, the earth is of the lord and the fullness thereof, he is the source. If you are following Him, you shall succeed, He is the creator of all things, visible and invisible. In the beginning, he created the heaven and the earth. “He created all things for his pleasure, without him nothing can exist.
“God is the giver of whatever we have, He is the all sufficient God. Every good and perfect gift is from above, from the father of light.
He has power to create and recreate, to take life and to keep alive, he is the owner of power. He makes the rich, and makes the poor, he lifts up and brings down.
“He has power to do and to undo, he has power to do all things. God cannot lie that is another quality of God, he is not a man that he should lie, he keeps promises, he cannot disappoint. He has everything it takes to fulfill his promises.
“God is everlasting God, He is the God that does not die. He is dependable, he is reliable, He is the only good God, Matt 19:16, he is the specialist in doing good. He makes the sun and the rain to shine and fall on all,” Pastor Muoka revealed.
Pastor Muoka assured the congregation that God will do them good this year, “God knows what will happen tomorrow and beyond. What God promises shall come to pass, example is the promise made to Sarah that she shall bear Abraham a child which came to pass.”
Pastor Muoka called on his members to repent and run away from sin, alcohol, homosexuality, lesbianism, divorce, bribery, disobedience, anger, hatred, armed robbery, kidnapping, fighting, violence, among other sins.
He made it clear that a sinner is not a Christian and a Christian is not a sinner, adding that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God. “Amend your ways, tomorrow maybe too late.”
After two todays of the crusade, there were amazing testimonies that appeared impossible to the ordinary eyes. A sister testified how her son regain his sight and was able to walk again after 6 years; a brother won a court case through the intervention of the God of the Chosen. Also a sister narrated how she was saved from Fulani herdsmen.
A member of the church testified how he was taken to court, and the Magistrate asked him to remove his apron, to mock the God of the Chosen, but before the next adjourned date, the Magistrate died. He said God is the vindicator of the righteous.
A sister testified how God did surgical operation on her eyes and she regained her sight, while a lady from Adamawa State testified how she was delivered from armed robbers.
A brother testified how he was suffering from demonic stomach pain untill God of the Chosen delivered him.
Precious Omoragbon said God of the Chosen made paper available for her children abroad after over 20 years of searching in vain.
A lady was given N2,500 by members of the Chosen who visited her, and she used it to start a business, and today she is a landlady. In her second testimony, she said her shop was saved from fire outbreak even as other shops were burnt.
Chidi Onu gave testimony on behalf of his wife, whose multiple afflictions disappeared courtesy of the incomparable power of the God of the Chosen. Also a lady was healed from Blood Pressure and fibroid.
Brother Arinze Olu joined the Chosen in 2010, he thanked God for keeping his family throughout 2025. He disclosed that God saved him from shame and land matter between his father and his brother. He said he lost his father in the land matter. However, last year peace was restored between his father’s family and his uncle.
In fact between the first day and the 2nd Day of Mgbidi Crusade 2026, the blind saw, the dumb spoke, the deaf heard and the cripple walked. Those that have stroke, paralysis, and challenges arising from organ problems were healed, broken bones were miraculously joined, total blindness, glaucoma, cataract were removed, all those with insanity were healed, those who had loss of memory were healed.
Cancer, ulcer were rolled away at the crusade, 19 years deaf and dumb was healed, 8 months stroke healed, 3 years stroke healed, two years paralysis healed, 22 years deaf and dumb spoke, parkinson disease terminated, 6 years madness healed, three years loss of memory rolled away.
highlights of the first two days include, choir ministrations by national, youth, departmental choirs, several international chapters also rendered melodious songs which were all aimed at bringing revival, transformation and tune the minds of the congregants in readiness for the New Year blessings.
